How to pay for parking using your mobile phone
Parking using your mobile phone is easy. Follow these simple steps:

Mobile enabled Parking Machines are from Haymarket Terrace to Holyrood Road, and Moray Place to Melville Drive.
These machines can be identified by a BLUE button located on the front of the Parking Machine.

Ensure that you have caller id enabled on your handset. This is important so that we can identify you when you call. For more information on caller id, please read the frequently asked questions.

Press the YELLOW button to activate the machine and to display the pay & display meter number

Call 0870 840 1000

4.
Enter the parking meter number into your phone, then press #

5.
You will be prompted for whether you wish to receive an sms reminder.

6.
Press the BLUE button to increase parking time in one hour increments
7.
Press the GREEN button to print your ticket

8.
To cancel, press the RED button at any time.
